Who in the world would have thought a year ago that in the year 2005, I would have the unique opportunity to regularly speak, sing, and play guitar to 250 million people around the world each week, all for the cause of Christ and His glory. Smoky Mountain Cowboy Church is an outreach for our locals and visitors alike. A place where formality is not considered. A place where jeans are not only expected but appreciated.

Live from the Country Tonite Theatre in Pigeon Forge, TN we broadcast around the world a format of Christian country music with a timely message following each performance.

SMCC broadcasts live on WWCR (Worldwide Country Radio) via short wave. Short wave is the standard in all parts of the world except on our continent.

You will also find us each Sunday morning via our edited re-broadcasts on the following stations; WSM 650AM and WSMOnline.com, the radio home of The Grand Ole Opry, and in a new forthcoming time slot on XM Satellite Radio where we share the time slot with our sister church The Nashville Cowboy Church. The live broadcast can also be heard live on the SMCC website at 10am each Sunday morning.

I am absolutely amazed at the resourcefulness of our producer, and long time friend, Bill Anderson, Jr. Having founded and produced the Nashville Cowboy Church some fifteen years ago, Billy sought a place here in the Smokies' gateway to start a sister outreach, thus Smoky Mountain Cowboy Church was born in June of 2005. When asked to help get it started, I agreed thinking that it would only be a temporary position of leadership, but God had other plans. Now, as the host and musical director, I am privileged to work with the most wonderful, gifted, and dedicated Christian musicians and singers that I could ever dream of. Dedicating their time and talents each week to the growth of God's kingdom is an awe inspiring effort. I am so thankful for the SMCC Band and supporting staff. I am also very appreciative of Frank Auman who has made the American Jukebox Theater available to SMCC. We are truly blessed!

I sure hope you will take a Sunday and come and experience a relaxed casual atmosphere where you can get a little rowdy when you yell out YEEHAW!! That's cowboy talk for Hallelujah or Amen. On any given Sunday you can listen to the program LIVE on our SMCC website also. Just check the schedule below. Previous programs are also made available for a period of one month. Join us!! Nothing else feels quite like it!!!
