Sunday evening’s session was held at The Winter Case home. The message entitled “Columns and Poles” dealt with what hinders our worship and reduces our worship to “dead works”. We met in the back yard of the Case home.  What a beautiful setting. The cool of the evening was so nice. We left that evening with the question, “What column do you hide behind to avoid moving toward where God is working and moving?” and “What are the Asherah poles in your life” ? Asherah poles were places of pagan idol worship in the kingdom of Judah. King Jehosaphat had removed them and God bless the kingdom of Judah for it.

I truly believe that the fellowship at Living Hope Community Church has a sincere desire to worship in spirit and in truth, reach the lost, and minister one to another. Please pray for their fellowship and for Bill Jenkins as they work together for the resurrection of this church. LHCC can become an effective and vital tool in the hands of the Lord for the Halifax area.

I have never met kinder, more concerned, and loving people that those of Halifax. I am sure that their pristine lifestyle diminishes their perceived “need” for a corrective church experience. However, they do need Jesus and my prayer is that Halifax will begin to hunger for a relationship with Jesus Christ.
