What an inspiring experience to be at Peggy’s Cove. The beauty of the landscape and St. Martha’s Bay only reminded me of what a marvelous God we serve that offers us the opportunity to worship Him. He is actively seeking those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Saturday brought more leadership seminars and preparation for our Sunday morning worship service. Bill Jenkins and I had a two hour conversation concerning the dynamics of corporate worship which proved very productive. After fifty-one years of ministry he is still on top of his role as a church planter. Bill is uniquely qualified to foster tremendous growth at Living Hope Community Church if anyone can. He will impact the Halifax area tremendously if successful in the long term planning.

Sunday morning was met with anticipation as we began to arrive at the IMAX Theater for the worship service.  On Thursday evening the fellowship was challenged to sing their “Psalms of Ascent” before coming to church to prepare their hearts and minds to experience the presence of God.  It appeared that many did exactly that. The spirit of worship was very strong.  Many new faces were seen as the attendance had grown to 74 with four decisions for Christ. Several people responded to the Breakfast Television program, but the most response came from the personal contacts we made throughout the week.
