I cannot encourage you enough to consider joining the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society (CAAS). For guitar players to attend the CAAS convention at The Music City Sheraton Hotel in Nashville is an incredible opportunity . You'll hear the best of the best and there's not a prima dona among them. Every artist is friendly and eager to share their love for guitar and fingerstyle music.

You do not have to attend all four days, but you will not want to miss the Saturday night concert. The greatest guitarists in the world show up to share in workshops and concerts each day and into the late evening. Even if you don't get to attend the convention, the minimal membership fee of $20 per year is well worth the quarterly magazine, "Mister Guitar". This magazine in chock full of great articles about Chet, and other fine guitarists, as well as articles concerning guitar clubs and other happenings. There is  always the latest breaking news on products and services to the fingerstyle guitarist. 


Mark Pritcher, president of CAAS, and editor of Mister Guitar magazine, does a phenomenal job of presenting terrific articles and tabs of guitar tunes for the reader/player.
